Join Our Team as a Clinical Research Operations Manager
We are thrilled to announce an opportunity within the Imperial Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) for a Clinical Research Operations Manager. The ECMC serves as a pivotal research support unit collaborating with various NHS Trusts and academic institutions, focusing on early phase clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination and follow-up of a diverse range of academically funded early phase studies within the Surgery and Intervention Science portfolio.
- Manage all facets of trial operations, ensuring close collaboration with the Chief Investigator and Principal Investigators at affiliated centres.
- Supervise associated study personnel and implement established systems and processes to uphold the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
- Monitor the integrity of data collected from electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF) and patient records.
- Engage in patient-facing duties, including obtaining consent, completing eCRFs, and facilitating trial processes.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive individual who can seamlessly integrate into our team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree and demonstrate proven experience in managing research or clinical trial projects, along with a solid background in clinical trial recruitment.
A comprehensive understanding of the current EU Clinical Trials Directive, UK Clinical Trials regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Research Governance Framework legislation is essential.
