Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to challenge, support, and inspire learners in their pursuit of excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of an innovative and engaging curriculum aimed at promoting the key objectives outlined in the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves permanent full-time employment, with a commitment of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, under the guidance of the Line Manager. The educator will:
- Develop and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and outcomes for all students.
Requirements
The position involves Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as mandated by the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Candidates must be willing to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for this role. If already a member, a PVG Scheme Record Update will be required prior to any formal employment offer.
It is important to note that PVG members' records are continuously updated with any new vetting information. Any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant before a formal offer of employment is made.
Compensation
The full-time salary for this position ranges from £38,000 to £48,000 per annum.
