About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Microstation Technician/BIM Lead to join our Buildings Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and coordination of BIM models for Rail and Infrastructure Buildings projects, using Microstation OBD.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement BIM practices utilising the latest digital techniques, ensuring the Team keeps pace with and strives to improve on current industry standards
  • Assist the Sector Leader in developing a digital strategy with short, medium and long term targets
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing their skill knowledge and Microstation practices as well as ensuring compliance with BIM standards by encouraging high quality outputs

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in BIM and Microstation, with experience of working in a collaborative, federated BIM environment using clash detection software as necessary. You should be able to think outside the box in order to identify improved procedures, protocols and methods in order to improve our modelling Contract deliverables.
