Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Microstation Technician / BIM Lead to join our Buildings Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and coordination of BIM models primarily relating to Rail and Infrastructure Buildings projects, using Microstation OBD.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement BIM practices utilising the latest digital techniques, ensuring the Team keeps pace with and strives to improve on current industry standards.
  • Assist the Sector Leader in developing a digital strategy with short, medium and long term targets.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, enhancing their skill knowledge and Microstation practices as well as ensuring compliance with BIM standards by encouraging high quality outputs.

About the Role

You will be part of a highly dynamic, 300-strong, multi-disciplinary buildings practice contributing to and leading the modelling for some of the industry's most innovative and sustainable building projects across the UK. You will play a vital role in shaping project success through effective modelling, coordination, and mentorship, promoting and encouraging collaboration between the Engineering teams and our external collaborators, to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and with the highest quality standards.
