About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at Agora Talent Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a best-in-class finance function, providing financial leadership and guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Compliance
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    • Prepare and submit financial returns to regulatory bodies, including HMRC and Companies House.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Business Partnering
    • Act as a trusted business partner, providing financial guidance and support to the management team.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial objectives.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the ongoing development of finance team members.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller who is passionate about delivering exceptional financial performance. You will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and financial reporting. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

You will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations to the business. You will also be a strong leader, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of finance professionals.
