About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and fast-paced media group as a Financial Accountant. The company has relocated to Manchester City Centre and is looking for a permanent Financial Accountant to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering financial activity for the business. This will involve collaborating with multiple departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes and delivering timely and accurate reporting, accounting, and controls.
You will also be focused on driving best practice to enable effective process improvement and will have the opportunity to be involved in decision-making for wider business implementation. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and managing the full record to report process.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience of financial reporting and be well-versed in accounting principles such as IFRS. You will also need to be a strong communicator with a proactive approach and a positive attitude, driven to progress in your career.
You must have exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail, along with the ability to manage your own workload in a fast-paced environment.
