Law Absolute Limited is seeking a dedicated Fitness to Practise Lawyer to become part of a prominent public sector organization that oversees the regulation of healthcare professionals nationwide. This is a permanent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in regulatory law.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will primarily engage in the early phases of triage and investigations while collaborating with colleagues throughout the fitness to practise process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on fitness to practise matters, including the management of intricate and high-profile cases.
- Review and assess internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal standards.
- Work within a dynamic in-house legal team committed to professional growth.
- Attend the office as required, ensuring regular communication and collaboration with team members.
Qualifications:
- A qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Proven experience in advising on fitness to practise processes.
- Willingness to commute to the office as necessary.
Compensation:
The starting salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, with the potential to increase to £47,500 per annum following the successful completion of the initial probationary period.
