About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sub Agent to join our team at AmcoGiffen. As a Sub Agent, you will be responsible for the daily management of various civil engineering and rail projects within our portfolio of work in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that contracts are executed in accordance with applicable legislation, contract terms and conditions, and contract health and safety plans.
  • Deliver contracts within programme and budget, and ensure that tender allowances are not exceeded.
  • Monitor contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met, and identify and manage changes to the contract.
  • Provide formal reports on contract progress to the Project and Contracts Managers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Engineer or Sub Agent in a civil engineering environment.
  • SMSTS and PTS certifications.
  • Degree or HNC/HND in civil engineering, or equivalent compensating experience in a technical engineering role.
  • Experience in a similar role working on multi-disciplinary civils infrastructure projects.
  • Rail experience.
  • Flexibility to work possible day/night shift patterns.
