Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Cbes is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Security Engineer Apprentice to join our team. As a Fire Security Engineer Apprentice, you will be responsible for undertaking multiple system type servicing, fault diagnosis, repair, and commissioning processes on various systems in accordance with current standards and Codes of Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Servicing and Maintenance: Undertake multiple system type servicing, fault diagnosis, repair, and commissioning processes on various systems in accordance with current standards and Codes of Practice.
  2. Project Management: Work within project time constraints, identifying and communicating without delay any potential risks to the project delivery dates.
  3. Communication: Communicate fluently with fellow team members in their region in respect to client urgency escalations regarding key systems faults.
  4. Pressure Management: Calmly deal with pressure and hit deadline targets.
  5. NSI Gold Standard Experience: Possess NSI gold standard experience.
  6. Administrative Tasks: Ensure timesheets and all other relevant paperwork are completed on time.
  7. Training and Development: Undertake any relevant training as required.
  8. Health and Safety: Understand H&S Risk Assessments and ensure all relevant H&S requirements are complied with and enforced.
  9. Documentation: Complete the relevant e-documentation, paperwork, and where required, submit on time.
  10. Company Policy and Best Practice: Actively support company policy and best practice in the area of fire and security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information.
  11. Call Rota: Be included in a call rota for security faults and escalations.
  12. Product Knowledge: Possess product knowledge and working experience relating to Galaxy Honeywell devices, IP CCTV & Analogues CCTV infrastructure, Access Control systems, data set wiring, Fibre and data networks & termination, Fire systems, and System cause and effect programming.
