Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the advisers in researching, analysing and preparing financial plans and reports for clients.
  • Liaise with product providers, clients and other professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Work within a close-knit team of paraplanners and administrators who are encouraged to challenge themselves in their development and support one another at all times.
  • Develop skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development.
  • This is a permanent full-time role, office based in a central location.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of a level 4 diploma in financial planning or equivalent, preferably chartered or studying towards level 6 chartered status.
  • At least two years of experience as a Paraplanner or a similar role in the financial services industry, including experience with pension and investment advice, IHT planning and VCT/EIS products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with complex and technical information.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
