About the Role

Altum Consulting is looking for a proficient NetSuite Developer/Architect with expertise in revenue recognition to contribute to a year-long project. This role is pivotal in enhancing and streamlining revenue recognition workflows, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach and a solid history of implementing NetSuite solutions in intricate settings. Collaboration with the Business As Usual (BAU) team is essential to assess current workflows, devise enhancements, and deliver continuous support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft, develop, and execute custom NetSuite solutions, scripts, and integrations to bolster revenue recognition processes.
  • Evaluate existing revenue recognition workflows to pinpoint automation and enhancement opportunities.
  • Generate and sustain thorough documentation regarding system configurations, processes, and protocols.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to team members.
  • Engage with cross-departmental teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Participate in code evaluations and testing to guarantee high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with NetSuite, particularly with the Advanced Revenue Module (ARM), item catalog structure, record structures, scripting, and RESTlets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of revenue recognition principles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated capability to design and execute sophisticated NetSuite solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • NetSuite certifications (ARM preferred).
  • Experience with tools such as Git, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Knowledge of performance obligations and their combinations/modifications is crucial.
  • Experience in addressing break-fix issues.
