Role Overview
Altum Consulting is in search of a proficient NetSuite Developer/Architect with a robust grasp of revenue recognition principles. This role is critical for enhancing and automating revenue recognition workflows, ensuring both compliance and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and a successful history of delivering NetSuite solutions within intricate environments. You will collaborate closely with the BAU team to evaluate current processes, design enhancements, and provide ongoing technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom NetSuite solutions, scripts, and integrations tailored to revenue recognition workflows.
- Evaluate existing revenue recognition processes, identifying areas for automation and enhancement.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and operational procedures.
- Offer technical expertise and support to team members.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Engage in code reviews and testing to uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
- Significant experience with NetSuite, particularly with the Advanced Revenue Module (ARM), item catalog structures, and scripting.
- Thorough understanding of revenue recognition principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex NetSuite solutions.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- NetSuite certifications, especially in ARM, are preferred.
- Experience with tools such as Git, Confluence, and Jira.
- Understanding of performance obligations and their modifications is essential.
- Experience in resolving break-fix issues.
