Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to play a crucial role in our metal processing operations. Your expertise in precision cutting and adherence to safety protocols will be essential in maintaining our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review material specifications and cutting plans to ensure compliance with customer tolerances.
  • Program the saw and perform both initial and random quality checks, including comprehensive inspections for specific standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on the saw and operate various lifting equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
  • Accurately weigh cut pieces and remnants, ensuring proper organization on pallets or skids.
  • Label remnants appropriately and assist in stock management as needed.
  • Uphold quality standards throughout the cutting process and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A commitment to following health and safety policies.
  • Experience in operating machinery within the metal processing industry or a similar field.
  • Strong mathematical and IT skills.
  • Familiarity with STELPLAN.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels.
  • Teamwork abilities to meet operational deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
