The Institute Manager is a key professional staff position within the Institute of Classical Studies (ICS) and the wider School of Advanced Study. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Institute, working closely with the ICS Director, the Librarian of the Combined Classics Library, and other academic and professional staff across the School.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the Institute's administrative functions, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with the ICS Director and other stakeholders to achieve the Institute's mission and strategic objectives.
- Provide advanced research training, small grants, and support for visiting fellows and researchers.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the Institute's research and activities.
To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong understanding of the classical research community and the School's strategic plan is essential. The successful candidate will be a team player with a passion for promoting research and education in the humanities.
