We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Consultant to join our team at Devon Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Liaison Psychiatry and Psychological Medicine department, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to patients and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality psychiatric care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care pathways.
- Contribute to the development of our services, including service redesign and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting their professional development and well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in psychiatry, with a focus on liaison psychiatry and psychological medicine.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Experience of service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
