Senior Underwriter Role at Markel International Services Ltd
We are seeking a seasoned Underwriter to join our team at Markel International Services Ltd, a global company that values diversity and fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite new business cases in Financial Lines, focusing on Professional & Management Risks, to ensure accurate risk assessment and optimal coverage.
- Review broker quotes and promote Markel's benefits to clients, highlighting the value proposition of our services.
- Maintain existing broker relations and develop new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
- Handle workflow efficiently using company platforms, ensuring timely and accurate processing of underwriting cases.
- Actively seek new prospects using CRM system, identifying potential clients and opportunities for business development.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Professional Indemnity or Information Technology underwriting, with a strong understanding of risk management principles.
- Good communication skills and client management experience, with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- Proven ability to manage workflow independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
