Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and diagnose technical issues with equipment to ensure prompt resolution.
- Service a diverse range of heavy tracked plant JCB machines, both on and off site.
- Work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems, utilizing mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
- Complete job cards to a high standard, meeting deadlines and adhering to company procedures.
- Manage paperwork and timesheets efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Request parts effectively, minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing exceptional customer service.
- Supervise apprentices, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with relevant procedures and regulations when repairing and inspecting equipment.
- Present a professional image at all times, reflecting positively on Market 36 Recruitment.
- Take responsibility for health and safety, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to service a wide range of heavy tracked plant JCB machines.
- Excellent verbal, written, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to investigate and diagnose complex technical issues.
- Lone working ability, with a strong focus on self-motivation and discipline.
Market 36 Recruitment offers a competitive salary of up to £37,400, with opportunities for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the standard rate. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week with the potential for additional hours.
