Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

Market 36 Recruitment is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team based out of Barking, covering the Essex and Northeast London area on a permanent basis.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onsite customer support to a range of machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Investigate and diagnose technical problems with equipment, providing timely and effective solutions to customers.
  2. Service a wide variety of machines both on and off site, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  3. Work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems, utilizing strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  4. Complete job cards to a high standard, meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate records.
  5. Manage paperwork and timesheets efficiently, ensuring timely submission and compliance with company procedures.
  6. Request parts effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  7. Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, providing exceptional service and support.
  8. Supervise apprentices when required, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment, maintaining a safe working environment.
  10. Present a professional image at all times, representing Market 36 Recruitment with integrity and expertise.
  11. Take responsibility for the health and safety of self, colleagues, and customers, adhering to the Company health and safety policy.
Requirements:
  1. Solid mechanical aptitude, with experience in servicing heavy tracked plant JCB machines.
  2. Ability to investigate and diagnose technical problems, involving climbing on top and underneath heavy plant machinery.
  3. Lone working, with excellent verbal, written, and critical thinking skills.
Working Conditions:

Working hours are 40 hours a week, with overtime available paid at x 1.5. In return, our client offers a competitive salary of up to £37,400.
