Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to join our esteemed client in the legal industry.
Compensation: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Location: City of London
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Role Responsibilities:
As a key member of the marketing team, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Business Development and Marketing. This dynamic role requires exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Planning, executing, and supporting firm-sponsored webinars, seminars, and client receptions.
- Collaborating with legal professionals and senior marketing specialists on event logistics, including invitations, name tags, and handout materials.
- Developing comprehensive work plans for assigned events and managing resources to meet critical deadlines.
- Creating event invitations in partnership with the design team.
- Coordinating website and social media promotions for events in collaboration with the digital marketing team.
- Facilitating pre-event planning and post-event debriefing meetings with stakeholders.
- Assisting in the drafting, editing, and maintenance of lawyer biographies.
- Identifying relevant speaking opportunities for lawyers and assisting in the preparation of necessary materials.
- Working with the creative team to produce promotional materials that support sponsorships and advertisements.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree, ideally in communications or marketing.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in event coordination, marketing, or communications.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A general understanding of the legal competitive landscape.
- Experience in legal marketing or professional services marketing.
