Neway International Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Team Manager - Occupational Therapy to join our client-based team with Sutton Council.
This role involves working 36 hours a week, initially for a 6-month contract that may be extended on a rolling basis.
We are looking for a skilled professional to develop and implement a Trusted Assessor Framework that will be used across Health and Social Care in South West London.
The framework will focus on developing the knowledge, competencies, and skills of trusted assessors, supporting them in carrying out their role, and promoting efficiencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for equipment prescribed by Trusted Assessors
- Forging links with training providers to ensure that the trusted assessor training meets the needs of South West London partners
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the Trusted Assessor Framework using outcome measures and reporting on key performance indicators
- Providing direct support to trusted assessors through forums and joint work to support their development
- Line managing and supervising a Senior Occupational Therapist who will assist with this project and provide direct support to trusted assessors
The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational therapy and a strong understanding of the Trusted Assessor role.
