Oncology Community Nurse

Join our team as a Community Chemotherapy Nurse with a leading provider in Cancer Care. This role focuses on delivering specialized oncology treatments directly to patients in their residences. As a Chemotherapy Nurse, you will administer a variety of therapies, including IV and oral chemotherapy, while performing essential assessments and care procedures.
Your responsibilities will encompass conducting blood tests, evaluating patient toxicity, managing pump disconnections, providing line care, and performing IM/SC injections among other duties.
While you will operate independently in the community, you will be integrated into a larger nursing team, maintaining regular communication with supervisors and peers. This position offers a chance to stay at the forefront of nursing practices, gaining insights into innovative technologies and treatment methods, while contributing to the evolution of patient care models.

Requirements:
- Active NMC Pin - Registered RGN Nurse
- Essential experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy
- Proficiency in Cannulation and Venepuncture
- Valid Driving Licence
- SACT Passport or equivalent certification
