About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team in the Castlepoint area. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling Lee, a wonderful non-speaking individual, to live a fulfilling life in his community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Lee, understanding his needs and preferences to provide personalized support.
  • Assist Lee with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication management, and household responsibilities.
  • Support Lee in accessing community resources, such as local supermarkets, farms, and bowling alleys, to promote social interaction and independence.
  • Collaborate with the support team to develop and implement care plans that cater to Lee's unique needs and goals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of Lee's care, including his daily activities, medication, and any changes in his behavior or needs.

Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
