Job Title: PC/Tablet Technician

Hamilton Rentals - Flexible Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled PC/Tablet Technician to join our team. As a PC/Tablet Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the day-to-day activities of our busy PC department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual handling of laptop, desktop, and workstation hardware
  • Work to a day-to-day delivery schedule with explicit timescales and deadlines
  • Prioritize upcoming workload, raise issues, and start working on future orders in advance of their anticipated shipping date
  • Keep the bespoke Rental Management computer System (RMS) fully updated with order progression
  • Handle queries or issues generated by sales staff or customers
  • Respond to customer issues as first-line support
  • Assist with offsite delivery and installation work
Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting Intel/Apple-based handheld, laptops, and desktop computing products
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
  • Knowledge of Apple devices and the Apple cloud environment is a distinct advantage
  • Good understanding and ability around general IT
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused
  • Proven ability to manage own time during the working day
  • Proactive, self-motivating with a flexible working approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to utilize own initiative and resolve problems
  • A clean, valid UK driver's license would be advantageous
