BIM Technician

RSE is seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join their in-house Design team in Inverness. As a BIM Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the BIM Manager with the development of relevant processes, templates, and models, while providing guidance and support to the Quality Assurance, Design, and Project teams in all BIM-related matters.
Key Responsibilities- Support BIM coordination on projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams.
- Utilize Revit to support the design teams, ensuring accurate and efficient modeling.
- Assist project teams with BIM queries, providing expert guidance and support.
- Conduct regular Model Review exercises, ensuring high-quality models and data.
- Perform Coordination and Clash Detection exercises, identifying and resolving issues.
- Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Contribute to the development of the business BIM structure, driving innovation and efficiency.
- A Degree/HND/HNC in Engineering is desirable.
- Experience working with 3D modeling software, with a strong understanding of ISO:19650 and UK building construction fundamentals.
- The ability to work quickly and accurately, with a good working knowledge of Autodesk BIM3360, Revit, and Navisworks Manage.
- A UK Driving Licence is required.
