Domestic Cleaning Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Domestic Cleaning Assistant. As a key member of our healthcare cleaning services team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • High and low dusting, mopping, wiping, and scrubbing surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected, and public areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Ensuring rubbish bins are maintained and removed when full to prevent any unpleasant odors or hazards.
  • Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors by following required policies and procedures.
  • Using equipment in accordance with the role, following all Health & Safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Working under pressure, individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Being aware of patients who may be unwell or showing signs of distress and providing a supportive and caring environment.
  • Taking pride in your work and being willing to learn and go the extra mile for our patients.
  • Subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service check, costs met by the employer.
