Domestic Assistant Opportunity

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our team at Sycamore Lodge. As a key member of our domestic team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our residential care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize rooms, including furnishings, in assigned work areas
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to our service users and their care
  • Communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families, and colleagues, demonstrating good interpersonal and working relationship skills
  • Work independently, using a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene within the home

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.00 and flexible working hours. Full training will be provided, including our leadership program, to support your development and opportunities for progression within Shaw Healthcare.

No previous experience is necessary, and we are happy to work with you to help you become an excellent member of our team.
