We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at HAVAS LYNX. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and support to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Collaborate with internal agencies to gather financial data and prepare budgets throughout the year.
    • Produce month-end reports, focusing on Gross Income (GI), including deferred income schedules and GI reporting documents.
  • Financial Guidance and Support
    • Run finance inductions for new starters to ensure they understand our financial processes.
    • Attend monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings to provide analysis of previous month's performance and challenge future performance.
  • Financial Education and Training
    • Develop and deliver regular commercial masterclasses and refreshers for the team to enhance their financial knowledge.
    • Produce and review monthly reporting for the network, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Financial Process Improvement
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Collaborate with internal agencies to monitor financial performance and challenge any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Qualified or part-qualified accountant with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
    • Proven experience in month-end reporting, including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-finance colleagues.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
