About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Havas Lynx, a global advertising agency specializing in healthcare communications. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to stakeholders, driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal agencies to develop and manage budgets throughout the year
  • Prepare and review month-end reports, focusing on Gross Income (GI) and deferred income schedules
  • Design and deliver finance inductions for new starters, ensuring a smooth onboarding process
  • Provide analysis and insights to the Senior Leadership Team, challenging future performance and driving business improvement
  • Work closely with internal agencies to monitor financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver regular commercial masterclasses and refreshers, enhancing team knowledge and skills
  • Produce and review monthly reporting for the network, ensuring timely and accurate information
  • Create trackers for agencies as needed, monitoring client spend and financial performance
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for the team, network, and internal stakeholders, as required
Requirements
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in month-end reporting, accruals, and prepayments
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance colleagues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
