Job Title: Container Haulage Driver

Turners (Soham) Ltd, the UK's largest privately owned transport company, is seeking a skilled Container Haulage Driver to join our Southampton depot.

About the Role

We are looking for a professional driver with a Class 1 HGV license to work in our container division. As a Container Haulage Driver, you will be responsible for transporting containers safely and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Class 1 HGV vehicle to transport containers to and from our depot
  • Ensure all containers are securely loaded and unloaded
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to resolve any issues
Requirements
  • Full HGV Class 1 (C + E) license
  • Driver CPC and Tacho Card
  • 35 hours CPC
  • Container experience preferred
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English

Average earnings estimated annually £38,500 to £41,500*. A competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.

*Earnings estimate based on 62-68 hours per week (Mon - Fri), 3 Nights out per week, Gold Fuel Bonus & Annual Leave & Bank Holidays Included.
