About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced LGV Class 1 Container Haulage Driver to join our team at Turners (Soham) Ltd, the UK's largest privately owned transport company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a Class 1 container tramper vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Develop close working relationships with the planning and training team, as well as other drivers and staff members, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and nights, to meet the demands of the haulage industry.
  • Comply with the Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations.
Requirements
  • Full HGV Class 1 (C + E) licence (1 year preferred)
  • Driver CPC and Tacho Card
  • 35 hours CPC
  • Container experience (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English

What We Offer

Average earnings estimated annually £38,500 to £41,500.*

*Earnings estimate based on 62-68 hours per week (Mon - Fri), 3 Nights out per week, Gold Fuel Bonus & Annual Leave & Bank Holidays Included.
