TransUnion LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Governance Analyst to contribute to our dynamic data management team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our vast data assets. You will leverage your expertise to support the implementation and maintenance of our comprehensive Data Management and Governance Framework.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and support in adhering to established data governance policies and standards across the organization.
  • Effectively manage and monitor data assets, generating reports that demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update the centralized data asset catalogue and Data Ownership Framework, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Privacy and Data Quality teams to align data governance initiatives with broader organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data lineage documentation and a robust business glossary, enhancing data understanding and transparency.
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data issues and incidents, minimizing disruptions and ensuring data integrity.
  • Generate insightful reports on data governance risks, issues, and performance metrics, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Engage with global Data Governance teams, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Mentor and guide junior Data Governance Analysts, contributing to their professional development and growth within the team.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data management and governance principles and best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards.
  • Proven experience in data quality measurement, cataloguing, and metadata management.
  • Strong ability to work effectively with Data Stewards and stakeholders across various departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
