Job Title: Trainer Assessor in Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer Assessor in Engineering to join our Apprenticeship provision at Nelson and Colne College Group.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team of experts to deliver high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in the Engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver training and assessment to apprentices in the Engineering sector, including training, mentoring, learner reviews, and timely feedback.
  2. Recruit and enrol apprentices onto our Apprenticeship programmes.
  3. Conduct initial assessments of apprenticeship needs and develop individual learning plans.
  4. Carry out monthly active learning and 12-weekly progress reviews with apprentices and employers.
Requirements:
  1. 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
  2. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  3. A1 qualification or willingness to work towards.
  4. Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards.
  5. Current industrial experience and up-to-date industry CPD.
  6. Experience of delivery and assessment of qualifications in this area.
  7. IQA qualification or willingness to work towards.
