Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at McKinty Associates. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business and working closely with our Owners to provide meaningful financial information and ensure robust controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of full monthly accounts, including KPI reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Closing off month-end using Xero, ensuring all transactions are accurately added, including sales ledger, profit and loss, bank reconciliations (multi-currency), journals, VAT, and PAYE.
  • Working capital management and credit control, as well as managing invoice discounting relationships.
  • Working closely with external accountants for year-end close.
  • Developing reporting controls and procedures and being proactive in improving the department.
  • Working closely with the Managing Director to help them make key business decisions by providing them with useful and timely management information.

Requirements:

  • Strong financial and management accounting experience.
  • Able to prioritize your own working day.
  • Eager to add value to non-finance professionals.
  • Attention to detail with an eye for accuracy and commentary.
