**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at McKinty Associates. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business and working closely with our Owners to provide meaningful financial information and ensure robust controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of full monthly accounts, including KPI reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow forecasting.
- Closing off month-end using Xero, ensuring all transactions are accurately added, including sales ledger, profit and loss, bank reconciliations (multi-currency), journals, VAT, and PAYE.
- Working capital management and credit control, as well as managing invoice discounting relationships.
- Working closely with external accountants for year-end close.
- Developing reporting controls and procedures and being proactive in improving the department.
- Working closely with the Managing Director to help them make key business decisions by providing them with useful and timely management information.
Requirements:
- Strong financial and management accounting experience.
- Able to prioritize your own working day.
- Eager to add value to non-finance professionals.
- Attention to detail with an eye for accuracy and commentary.
