Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Project Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the fire door team, ensuring all staff conform to health and safety procedures, and reviewing and updating strategies, policies, and procedures in line with new legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the fire door team
  • Ensuring all staff conform to health and safety procedures
  • Reviewing and updating strategies, policies, and procedures in line with new legislation
  • Supporting the management of contracts and contractors completing work to improve fire safety
  • Analyzing data from fire risk assessments
  • Writing and filing reports to the management team

Requirements:

  • Extensive technical fire knowledge, including fire doors
  • Understanding of joinery procedures
  • Supervisory background
  • Understanding of social housing (desirable)
  • Detailed understanding of the Fire Safety/Building Safety Act
  • Health and safety experience on-site
