About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Service Manager to join our team at Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative. As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our teams to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, older people, people with Autism, and physical disabilities across Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Service Manager and team in providing support to individuals within their homes and in the community.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement support plans that promote independence and well-being.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to support workers to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £24,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.
  • 20 days annual leave (plus statutory) rising to 25 after 5 years, plus Bank Holidays in lieu.
  • 45p per mile when using your own vehicle to support individuals.
  • £60.00 per shift for working a sleeping-in shift.
  • Enhancements for some Bank Holidays.

Requirements
  • A commitment to enabling people to live fulfilled and independent lives both within their homes and the wider community.
  • A flexible approach to work and the willingness and ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and also sleeping overnight at the service users' home.
  • A full clean valid UK driving license and a car with business insurance, as you will be required to use your car for work purposes.
  • A commitment to work towards a QCF in Health and Social Care.
