Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an SEN school in the Edenbridge area.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to work with students with ASD, SLD, and/or Behavioural Needs on a 1:1 and small group basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with mental health conditions and a background in supporting learning for KS3 & 4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class with educational, physical, emotional, and social development
  • Work alongside the teacher to shape the learning of the pupils
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs
  • Collaborate with the school's support team and SLT to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
What We Offer:
  • 32.5 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays, term-time only

Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Knowledge of special educational needs on a 1:1 basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for learning and high expectations for all pupils
