Graduate Fire Engineer Opportunity

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Fire Engineer to join our client's independent consultancy specialising in Fire Safety and Engineering Services.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects in a wide range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, nuclear, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop fire strategies and performance-based designs, supported by fire and evacuation modelling, risk analysis, and cost benefit analysis
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
  • Produce fire safety engineering reports and ensure compliance with client expectations and contractual obligations
  • Review design information, including drawings and documents, to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Resolve fire engineering concerns by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards
Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar)
  • Relevant experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Computer Literate, with experience in Blue Beam, Microsoft, CAD, and Smoke modelling software
  • Ability to travel within the UK and overseas
