About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards and improving safety performance.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy industry setting.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS management systems, WHS legislation, and Australian standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
