Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Shift Production Specialist to join our client's successful and expanding team in a production assembly environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong mechanical aptitude. They will be responsible for assisting the Department Head in maintaining product output, investigating process improvements, diagnosing faults, and repairing equipment.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing and updating tasks using a maintenance-based software and providing assistance to the Service Engineers.

The salary range for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus shift allowance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Department Head in maintaining product output and quality standards
  • Investigate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Diagnose and repair faults in production equipment
  • Complete and update tasks using a maintenance-based software
  • Provide assistance to the Service Engineers and other team members

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a production assembly environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to diagnose faults and repair equipment
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2025
