Job Summary:

Dove & Hawk is seeking an experienced Block Manager to join our Property Management team in North London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties, including managing day-to-day maintenance, supervising contractors, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of our residential properties, including arranging day-to-day reactive works, undertaking site inspections, and completing thorough site inspection reports.
  • Contractor Management: Issue works orders to contractors and service providers, ensuring completed works are reasonable and to a good standard, and within budget.
  • Service Contract Management: Supervise existing service contracts and providers, ensuring day-to-day activities such as landscaping, gardening, cleaning, and maintenance are carried out to a high standard.
  • Planned Works and Maintenance: Prepare a schedule of planned works and maintenance programme, ensuring completed works are within budget and to a good standard.
  • Communication: Liaise with 3rd party professionals, such as surveyors and building contractors, to ensure agreed qualifying works are completed to a good standard and within budget.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, including attending meetings, taking notes, and following up on agreed action points.
  • Team Management: Supervise 3rd party staff and agencies providing caretaking and concierge services.
  • Risk Assessment: Understand and implement required risk assessments, ensuring noted works are completed to a reasonable standard and within budget.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of property management software and systems

Dove & Hawk offers a competitive salary of £40k - £42k, working hours of Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm, and opportunities for personal development and career progression.
