Job Title: Prison Mental Health Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Tezlom. As a Prison Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients within a prison setting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess health and social care needs and negotiate care plans with patients and staff
* Undertake risk assessments and work within the Prison Service safer custody framework for managing Suicide and self-harm
* Work closely with other departments to ensure that all risks are assessed and managed
* Function fully within the Integrated Mental Health Team, assessing and treating patients through their journey in prison
* Accept referrals and triage patients with the team
* Undertake comprehensive assessments and provide effective case management

Requirements:

* Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health)
* Ideally, you must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison
