Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Description:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (FMS) is essential in directing the maintenance activities at our facility, ensuring that all machinery and infrastructure are properly maintained and function optimally and safely. In this role, you will lead the development of the maintenance workforce, oversee daily operations, and pursue ongoing enhancements in both mechanical and electrical maintenance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee maintenance challenges and allocate resources efficiently
  • Assist with engineering initiatives as required
  • Create and execute a Preventative Maintenance plan
  • Ensure adherence to engineering data management systems
  • Enhance equipment efficiency and quality
  • Manage facility operations
  • Control expenditures related to maintenance materials
  • Offer technical guidance and training
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements
  • Establish and track key performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Conduct risk evaluations and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Supervise contractors on-site
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds, apprenticeship, HND, HNC, or equivalent in an engineering-related field

Preferred Education:

  • Technical/Professional Qualification - Electrical Engineering
  • Technical/Professional Qualification - Engineering Mechanics

Preferred Work Experience:

3 - 5 years in a related sector

Work Arrangement:

This position requires on-site presence, remote work is not an option.
