We are in search of a committed Facilities Management Supervisor to become part of our team at HMP Bristol, a Category C male prison.

HMP Bristol functions like a self-sufficient city, requiring the efforts of hundreds to maintain its operations. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are dedicated to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting every prisoner, employee, visitor, and extending to families and the community.

In your role as Facilities Management Supervisor, you will collaborate with skilled and passionate colleagues, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all committed to making a positive impact and ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

We are a Ministry of Justice entity providing essential and timely services to HMPPS, and we are looking for a Facilities Management Supervisor with a combination of:

  • Recognized supervisory experience in facilities management
  • Compliance experience
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Relevant professional qualifications in facilities or project management
  • Strong Health & Safety knowledge
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
