Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and innovative team in the Intermediate Care service. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist community therapy assessment and treatment to improve health and independence for patients in their own homes and residential care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage a clinical caseload with autonomy, providing high-quality rehabilitation to patients with complex and/or multiple needs.
- Develop and implement goal-oriented intervention programs to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Contribute to clinical leadership and supervision, facilitating a culture of learning and reflective practice.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and infection control policies and procedures.

Person Specification- Essential qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, Current HPC Registration.
- Essential skills: Ability to demonstrate specialized clinical reasoning and treatment skills, Good level of clinical reasoning, handling, and treatment skills, Effective communication skills, Ability to work as part of a team, in isolation, and on own initiative.
- Desirable qualifications: Clinical educators qualification or to achieve in 12 months.
- Desirable skills: Experience of supervision of other staff, Experience of audit/research.
