The Preconstruction Lead will be instrumental in steering the preconstruction phase of our projects, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, cost-effective solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preconstruction phase, including the formulation of estimates, budgets, timelines, and value engineering assessments.
  • Collaborate with business development and design teams to evaluate project proposals, ensuring alignment with client objectives and financial parameters.
  • Manage the bidding process, encompassing the solicitation of subcontractor and supplier bids, bid evaluations, and selection of subcontractors.
  • Conduct comprehensive site evaluations to identify potential challenges and opportunities during the preconstruction phase.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to promote effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in preconstruction management within the commercial office fit-out sector.
  • Experience in the Design & Build market is preferred, with consideration for candidates from other relevant backgrounds.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing a high-performing preconstruction team.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard preconstruction software and tools, including estimating, scheduling, and building information modeling (BIM) software.
