The Preconstruction Lead will be instrumental in steering the preconstruction phase of our projects, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, cost-effective solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preconstruction phase, including the formulation of estimates, budgets, timelines, and value engineering assessments.
- Collaborate with business development and design teams to evaluate project proposals, ensuring alignment with client objectives and financial parameters.
- Manage the bidding process, encompassing the solicitation of subcontractor and supplier bids, bid evaluations, and selection of subcontractors.
- Conduct comprehensive site evaluations to identify potential challenges and opportunities during the preconstruction phase.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success in preconstruction management within the commercial office fit-out sector.
- Experience in the Design & Build market is preferred, with consideration for candidates from other relevant backgrounds.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring and developing a high-performing preconstruction team.
- Proficiency in industry-standard preconstruction software and tools, including estimating, scheduling, and building information modeling (BIM) software.
