Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Owen Daniels Consultancy. As a Cyber Security and Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing disaster recovery and backup recovery systems, advising on the decommissioning of servers, and monitoring and reviewing service performance at a component level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement disaster recovery and backup recovery systems to ensure business continuity
  • Advise on the decommissioning of servers to optimize IT infrastructure
  • Monitor and review service performance at a component level to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage work methods used for projects to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage assignment completeness, timeliness, and accuracy to meet project deadlines
  • Estimate, develop, and manage project budgets and cost/performance analyses to ensure financial sustainability

Requirements:

  • Strong and proven experience in a specialist support/delivery role in a medium to large organization
  • Knowledge of Dell APEX, CommVault solutions, and Cybersecurity experience (SOX, CMCC, Air Cyber) would be an asset
