Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our Technology Risk & Information Security team as a Graduate Information Security Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in protecting American Express's brand, employees, assets, and card members across the globe from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Incident Response/Threat Intelligence: You will be responsible for identifying and responding to security incidents, as well as providing threat intelligence to support the company's security posture.
  • Infrastructure, Application, Network, Cloud, & AI/ML Security: You will work to minimize the risk of cyber-attacks and focus on detection and response of threats across various infrastructure, applications, and networks.
  • Data Loss Prevention: You will protect sensitive information from loss through normal business processes and/or malicious actors, and monitor and block sensitive data loss where legally permissible.
  • Identity and Access Management/Authentication: You will deliver centralized Enterprise Identity and Access Management products to ensure secure access to company resources.
  • Cryptography/Encryption Services: You will protect all forms of sensitive information, on all platforms, resulting in protection of the Brand and information assets, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
  • Cyber security education and/or industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge or awareness in information security, compliance, assurance, and/or other security standard processes and principles
