Role Overview

We are seeking a Transport Traffic Clerk to join our award-winning Transport team.

Your primary responsibility will be to monitor our transport routes, ensuring that our HGV drivers are on schedule and that trailers arrive at our Hub sites as planned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Hub and Network Operations, Transport, and Security, to communicate updates on arrivals or any issues promptly, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Conduct license checks for agency drivers to maintain compliance with O Licence Regulations.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as responding to telephone inquiries and preparing route documentation and maps.
  • Support the Transport Shift Managers and Transport Operations Managers with additional administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • Experience in a fast-paced operational environment, preferably within the transport sector.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Google Chrome applications.
  • The ability to conduct comprehensive reporting and analyze data effectively.
