About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Manager in the management of site operations, including the coordination of site activities, resources, and personnel.
- Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with Vistry Group PLC's health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Monitor and control site costs, including labor, materials, and plant, to ensure that projects are delivered within budget.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, and develop and implement plans to address them.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
