Role Objective
The primary aim of the E-Commerce Strategy Lead is to amplify our online presence and drive exceptional e-commerce performance. This pivotal role encompasses the management of our digital sales channels, including online retail, inventory oversight, order fulfillment, email outreach, promotional initiatives, and website enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spearheading the development and expansion of online sales.
2. Overseeing future product selections for online inventory and integrating them into sales orders.
3. Crafting product listings that resonate with our target audience, ensuring optimal visibility across various platforms.
4. Generating monthly sales orders for website transactions and bi-weekly orders for other online marketplaces.
5. Uploading all inventory to the website and online platforms, including product descriptions, images, and promotional videos.
6. Monitoring stock levels in our storage facilities and coordinating transfers to online sales locations.
7. Collaborating with logistics teams to ensure timely order dispatch and fulfillment.
8. Analyzing pricing strategies across e-commerce channels to maximize profitability.
9. Conducting market research to understand customer preferences and evaluating the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
10. Assessing advertising performance by analyzing online traffic and conversion rates, using insights to refine promotional strategies.
11. Making informed business decisions regarding product offerings, pricing, and promotional activities in collaboration with senior management.
12. Partnering with finance teams to enhance the profitability of online sales.
13. Collaborating with technical teams to resolve any issues related to online platforms.
14. Preparing management reports detailing sales performance metrics.
15. Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities in the e-commerce landscape.
16. Identifying new online marketplaces for expansion and enhancing our digital footprint.
17. Selecting and managing external agencies and freelancers to support business growth.
18. Working alongside the Brand and Marketing team to develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy.
General Duties
1. Engaging in budget planning and tracking, providing updates to senior leadership.
2. Maintaining awareness of market trends and engaging with relevant sales and marketing reports.

Required Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in leveraging technology to streamline e-commerce operations.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify.
- Proficient in integrating payment solutions and ensuring website security.
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies, including social media engagement and email marketing.
- Skilled in data analysis to inform business decisions, including sales trends and customer engagement metrics.
- Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Experience in inventory management and forecasting.
- Ability to effectively supervise freelancers through clear communication and constructive feedback.
- Competence in developing and executing business plans, managing budgets, and negotiating with suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a strategic mindset.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
